These can be detected in bodily fluids, allowing diagnosis of particular diseases.<\/p><p class=\"bodytext\">Autoimmune diagnostics have been one of our\u00a0<strong>core competencies\u00a0<\/strong>from the start. We focus on a triad of research, development and application of diagnostic tests. In close cooperation with \u00a0EUROIMMUN AG, we constantly introduce better and more differentiated test\u00a0systems for the benefit of patients.<\/p><p class=\"bodytext\">In recent years there have been exciting developments in the area of designer antigens. These have led to new possibilities in cell-based assays based on BIOCHIP technology.<\/p><p class=\"bodytext\">The areas of neurology (especially differential diagnosis of tumour-associated encephalitis) and dermatology (blister-inducing skin diseases) have profited in particular from these developments. Significant advances have also been made in diagnostics for rheumatic diseases.
